I Enjoy Coffee (And Maybe a Little Sleep)

Life is simply hectic these days. Between work, family, and trying to squeeze in some me time/self-care/relaxation, it can be tough to keep up. But there's one thing that always gets me through: coffee. I deeply love the smell of a good cup of joe, and it gives me the motivation I need to tackle the day.

Of course, I also know that sleep is essential. But sometimes, when you're running through a busy schedule, it can be hard to get enough shut-eye. So, on those days when I'm feeling particularly stressed, I might just indulge in a little extra coffee (and maybe even skip a nap/power nap/quick snooze).

No criticism here – we all have our habits/guilty pleasures. And for me, it's a warm mug of coffee and the promise of a productive day/getting things done/accomplishing my goals.

When life gets chaotic, and the usual coping mechanisms aren't sufficient, I turn to my unconventional source of comfort: a trusty coffee maker. This ritualistic process of pulverizing beans, pouring hot water, and patiently waiting for the perfect concoction becomes my moment of clarity. Each taste carries with it a sense of serenity, grounding me in the current experience.
